Marley Shelton co-stars as the decorated FBI protection officer assigned to watch his back. Based on the British miniseries by acclaimed writer Stephen Gallagher, the suspenseful series follows the unlikely pair as they crusade to protect the substance of science from those with nefarious motives.

Review: The Eleventh Hour consisted of 18 full episodes throughout one season.  It ran from October 2008 to April of 2009 in the United States.  There have been other Canadian and British incarnations of the show previously. 

There have been comparisons made between this show and the X-Files and even Fringe to a degree.  I think that Fringe was more successful and remains on tv, because it takes the show into a broader sci-fi area than the Eleventh Hour did.    The Eleventh Hour is much more accessible for those not as interested in in-depth sci-fi.  This is more of a cop show with sci-fi elements.  Its far more grounded and based more in real life, which appeals to a lot of viewers.

The only place you can buy this DVD set is on wbshop.com.  Its a very limited release by the Warner Archive.  You won’t find this one in stores and you probably won’t see it used or on ebay much.  I would purchase this one today, to avoid any disappointment, as this is a limited release!
