Review: You know, if you’d told me a decade ago that Tink would be a poweful franchise in her own right and gaining momentum I would’ve laughed in your face.  My wife and I have been Disney enthusiests our entire lives.  Once we met, that just made it all the worse, lol.  My wife has always enjoyed Tink, but honestly the character didn’t have a ton of substance in the past.  She was mischievious and naughty…a flirty image, but nothing more.  Now, she’s become so much more.  Disney has tried and tried with various characters from their many films to make new franchises or sequels work…and typically they just don’t.   Tink appeals to little ones in an all new way.

My daughter is five and a half.  She is in kindergarten and LOVES Tinkerbell.  We watched the Tinkerbell movie awhile back and she was sold.   So, needless to say when Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure came to the house she was ecstatic.  We watched the film and she just loved it.  It went over very well.  A few new characters are introduced in this film, such as Blaze the firefly, Rosetta the Garden Fairy and some Trolls.

I cannot recommend this film enough, especially if you have kids.  Its a great addition to the Disney library!  It looks fantastic on blu-ray, and I can’t recommend buying anything on DVD, if you have the blu-ray option.
